Applications and Technical Specifications
Crushed aerated concrete aggregate (aerated concrete gravel) is used:
- as fill for floor screeds and for screeds over basement ceilings;
- for slope-forming fill on flat roofs (a particular advantage, as the rough surface of the gravel prevents the fill from sliding down the slope);
- for filling drainage structures, etc.
Crushed aerated concrete aggregate (aerated concrete gravel) has the same properties as autoclaved aerated concrete:
- low thermal conductivity, which reduces heat loss and improves the energy efficiency of the building;
- environmentally safe;
- non-combustible;
- vapor-permeable;
- a durable building material
Technical Specifications:
- Particle size distribution: 0–80 mm;
- Bulk density (determined in dry condition): D400;
- Moisture content at delivery: approximately 35%
