Application
Plaster “Lamb” UDK K-15 Silikon P.UDK.1.P.FS white
Ready-to-use structural plaster based on silicone resin. Used as a finish coating with a “pebble” texture on facades. Designed for application on mineral plasters, concrete, prepared brick substrates, surfaces of facade thermal insulation systems, gypsum board, particleboard, QSB, and OSB. Recommended for finishing facades in areas with high aggressive environmental exposure. Can be used to create durable, wear-resistant interior coatings.
Composition
Styrene-acrylic dispersion, titanium dioxide, modified silicone resin-based binder, functional additives, mineral fillers, water. Limit value of VOC for this product (cat. A/l): 200 g/l. This product contains max 200 g/l VOC.
Technical Specifications
The values stated are approximate and may vary slightly due to the use of natural raw materials.
Application Process
Substrate Preparation
Substrate preparation is carried out in accordance with DSTU-N B V.2.6-212:2016 and DSTU-N B A.3.1-23:2013. The surface must be clean, dry, and solid. Remove delamination, old coatings, and oil contamination thoroughly. Level out unevenness with filler. Cement plasters must be cured for a minimum of 28 days, filled surfaces — a minimum of 3 days, and thermal insulation system surfaces — 7 days. All surfaces must be treated with UDK Silikon Quarzgrund adhesion primer.
When using tinted plasters, the primer must be tinted to the same color. Crumbling or highly moisture-absorbent surfaces should be pre-treated with UDK Grunt deep-penetrating primer. Areas affected by fungi must be cleaned, dried, and treated with an antiseptic primer according to the instructions. Existing mold should be treated with the appropriate product according to the instructions. Surfaces containing efflorescence must be cleaned and treated with an isolating salt product. Metal components on the exterior side of the system must be protected against corrosion.
Application
Add 2–3% water and mix without whipping. Apply to the wall with a stainless steel spatula to the thickness of the grain and allow to set for some time. While the plaster is still soft, texture it with a plastic float in a circular motion until a densely packed pebble texture is achieved. The setting time depends on air humidity and temperature. Higher humidity and lower temperature require a longer setting time before texturing. Conversely, at lower humidity and higher temperature, the time between applying the plaster and texturing it decreases. If necessary, divide large surfaces into smaller sections or work in a group. The entire surface must be processed using the “wet on wet” method.
Do not apply in direct sunlight. Protect from precipitation and frost until the plaster is fully cured.
Application Temperature
Work should be carried out at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C and air humidity below 80%.
Coverage Rate
Approximately 2.2 kg/m² on a flat surface.
Coverage rate may vary depending on grain size and surface evenness.
Drying Time
Drying time: 24 hours at +20°C and air humidity of 65%. Full drying and recoating after 2–3 days.
Tinting
Tinted using Meffert SELECT tinting equipment. Apply plaster from the same batch to a single surface, or thoroughly mix products from different batches together!
Storage
Store in a tightly sealed container in a cool place, at a temperature between +5°C and +30°C. Protect the container from direct sunlight. Guaranteed shelf life in a hermetically sealed factory packaging: 24 months. See packaging for manufacturing date and batch number.
Safety Precautions
Keep out of reach of children. If the product gets into eyes, immediately rinse thoroughly with clean water. Do not pour the plaster into drains, water bodies, or onto the ground.
Dried plaster residues are disposed of as ordinary construction waste.
