Application
Mix UDK TBM Ts.1.MR4 DSTU B V.2.7‐126:2011
UDK TBM adhesive mix is designed for thin-layer masonry of exterior and interior walls using precision-dimensioned aerated concrete blocks. Masonry joint thickness: 2–5 mm. Also permitted for use as a filler for aerated concrete block walls inside buildings.
Composition
A blend of high-quality Portland cement with mineral fillers and organic modifiers.

Application Process
Substrate Preparation
Substrate preparation is carried out in accordance with the requirements of SNiP 3.04.01‐87 and DBN V.2.6‐22‐2001. The surface must be dry, solid, even, with low and uniform water absorption, and free of damage. Before applying the dry mix, the surface must be cleaned of dust, oil stains, and other substances that reduce adhesion.
Mortar Preparation
Preparation of the mortar mix: pour water (water temperature from +15°C to +25°C) into a clean container at a rate of 0.17–0.21 L per 1 kg of dry mix (4.25–5.25 L per 25 kg), gradually add the dry mix and stir with a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous lump-free consistency is achieved. Mix for approximately 5 minutes until the mortar reaches a uniform consistency. Allow a technical pause of 5–7 minutes, then mix again.
Application
Apply the prepared mortar mix evenly in a thin layer onto the cleaned surface using a trowel, spatula, or similar tool, and spread with a notched float or spatula with a tooth size of 6×6 mm or 8×8 mm, avoiding unfilled areas. Coverage rate depends on the tooth size, from 1.5 kg/m².
Blocks must be placed on the mortar mix no later than 10 minutes after the adhesive has been applied. During laying, blocks do not need to be pressed firmly against the surface; if necessary, block positioning can be adjusted within 5 minutes of placement using a rubber mallet. When the block is pressed down, mortar mix should be squeezed out of the joints, indicating full surface coverage. Excess mortar is removed with a trowel. Do not rub in!
Recommendations
Use of the dry mix is recommended at surface and air temperatures between +5°C and +30°C and relative air humidity not exceeding 60%. Standard adhesion is not guaranteed when laying blocks that are excessively wet or excessively dry. In dry, hot weather, it is recommended to pre-moisten the block surfaces; during rainfall, protect horizontal masonry surfaces. Eye and skin protection must be worn during application. If the mix gets into eyes, immediately rinse with water and consult a doctor.
