Application
Mix UDK MP1 TsV2.SHT3 DSTU B.V.2.7-126:2011
UDK MP1 mix is designed for leveling mineral surfaces (brick, concrete, expanded clay concrete blocks, and aerated concrete blocks) inside buildings with a layer thickness of 5 to 30 mm in a single application. The hardened plaster layer is recommended to be leveled and finished with fillers, thin-layer decorative plasters, paints, or tiles.

Application Process
Substrate Preparation
Prepare the substrate surface in accordance with the requirements of DSTU‐N B A.3.1‐23:2013 and DSTU‐N B V.2.6‐212:2016. The substrate surface must be dry, solid, dense, and clean. Clean the surface of contaminants and substances that reduce adhesion of the plaster mix to the substrate (oil and grease stains, lubricants, paint and varnish coatings, etc.). Remove all weak and crumbling areas of the surface. Repair significant surface irregularities using appropriate materials. Surfaces with high water absorption, as well as gypsum and smooth concrete surfaces, must be treated with an acrylic primer appropriate for the intended use.
Mortar Preparation
Pour water (water temperature from +15°C to +20°C) into a clean container at a rate of 0.18–0.22 L per 1 kg of dry mix, gradually add the dry mix and stir with a low-speed mixer or drill with a special attachment until a homogeneous lump-free consistency is achieved. Allow the mortar mix to stand for approximately 5 minutes, then mix again.
Application
UDK MP1 mortar is applied to the substrate manually with a trowel or by machine. It is distributed evenly with a trowel (a notched trowel may be used) and smoothed with a float. Work on a single surface must be carried out without interruption, following the “wet on wet” technique and using consistent tools throughout. The minimum thickness of each applied layer is 5 mm, the maximum is 30 mm. A technical break of 2–4 weeks must be observed before proceeding with further finishing work.
Recommendations
Do not use rusting tools or containers during application. Freshly applied mix must be protected from rain, overheating, and direct sunlight. Work must be carried out at air temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. The most effective results are achieved at +20°C and 60% relative humidity. Under other conditions, the working parameters of the mix may change. If the mix is used under non-standard conditions or for purposes other than those specified, independent testing must be carried out or the manufacturer should be consulted. The manufacturer bears no responsibility for incorrect use of the material, or for its use under conditions or for purposes not provided for in this technical description.
